Children, especially children with heart disease, need special attention, and we’ve been doing that for 25 years. Quality, compassionate care for children from infancy to adolescents has always been our highest priority.

Pediatric Cardiology of Alaska was started by Dr. David Brauner in 1983. In August 2004, Dr. Dona Brekke joined the practice. Dr. Brauner is currently the only “Board Certified” Pediatric Cardiologist in the state, and Dr. Brekke is the only female Pediatric Cardiologist in the state.

In addition to seeing patients here in Anchorage, we do clinics in many outlying areas, such as, Bethel, Barrow, Kotzebue, Nome, Dillingham, Fairbanks, Soldotna, Kodiak, Ketchikan, and Juneau. Our office staff can answer any questions about clinic dates and scheduling.

Our office staff are happy to work with families and answer any questions they may have regarding possible procedures and scheduling, and any financial or insurance questions.
